This project includes the development of a lounge-living room and kitchen-bar space for a private residential house. The designed space, located on the first floor, required special attention as it is the centerpiece of the house.
The owners are fond of hosting guests and wished to create a space where they could comfortably communicate, relax, cook, pour cocktails, etc. That is why the bar in this space takes an important closing place. For recreation and diverse pastimes, we also provided zones with multilevel seating from high bar chairs to low lounge chairs, ottoman chairs and sofas.
The hostess has Slavic origin, that allowed us to reach an identity and identify the special character of the space. It was decided to express "Russian spirit" through warm shades, wood, furniture decoration in tones contrasting with concrete walls, combinations in ochre-red-gold shades in furniture and decor. Special attention was paid to the textured finish of the walls, where brutal concrete surfaces contrast favorably with gold, copper and plastered walls with voluminous relief. Velour and velvet, concrete and gold, plaster and parquet - together all these complex combinations of materials and textures create an enveloping atmosphere of the luxurious hotel's bar.
